Aja Miyamoto

Bio:

I’m Aja (pronounced Asia), the founder of Sakura Web + SEO, where I work closely with salon and spa owners and their teams to build websites, SEO strategies, and connected digital systems that support how their businesses operate and grow. I specialize in integrating platforms like Phorest and Boulevard into a seamless online experience for both businesses and their clients.

For the past 8+ years, I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry, combining web, technology, design, e-commerce, and strategy in a way that feels clear, sustainable, and aligned with day-to-day salon life. I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the artistry and detail behind this work. ✂️ My background is in Journalism from The Ohio State University, and I grew up around entrepreneurship, which continues to shape how I approach my work. 

Outside of work, I’m a mom to an amazing three-year-old boy and love baking, shopping, traveling, puzzles, and catching the sunset on a patio.
